Even the Happiest Bridge Needs Support
She's cheerful
A smile from ear to ear
Destined to end with the circle
A girl painted in shades of yellow
This walk with confidence
Hand in hand
Lovers
(An oblivious state perhaps?)
She cares not of the thought of others
Their foul minds crouching to pounce at any moment
Claws outstretched and eyes dilated
She's insanely happy
Or happily insane
A caricature of extacy
So why try to comfort?
It is all too obvious
There is nothing biting at her spirit
But I know the truth
I spot those blood bathed eyes
That doped-up disguise the norm fail to see
Her friends...
I can trail the traces where the tears have dried
She can hide from the others but I'm blind
Because I know
Even the happiest bridge needs support
