It is What It Is...

The tortured artist, what he was really called,
Vincent Van Gogh was his everyday name.
An artist, a painter with his name scrawled,
sadly it did not bring, quite enough fame.

One simple glance, his paintings came alive,
though his paintings are not, the story to tell.
Even though, enjoyment is not deprived.
he cut off his own ear, with not one yell.

A confusing story with if,who and when,
the so called genius started the story along,
ago. What he did, did not count as a sin.
glory, was wanted no where nor belonged

Upset over a loved lost ,he went mad,
with money he scavaged, he bought a dirty lady.
he offered his cartilage , his face glad,
she declined, it was not a lovely daisy

Its left unknown why,but he later shot himself,
don't blame his mania madness on yourself
