His heart

His heart is obliterated,
and I'm trying to apprehend the pieces
but the pain doesn't subside, it only increases.
I wonder is his heart to damaged to ever love again?
maybe I should suppress these feelings, just pretend;
I can't,
but oh I must
I can't subvert his life to gain in my own,
his heart is taken, I'm not a thief, its better to just remain alone,
because you see when he hurts, I bleed;
