Headlined
Going crazy, her innards cause a scene.
Everything’s wrong, and no one pays mind.
She wants to be foolish, let herself scream,
But no one notices till it’s headlined.
She thought it’d be fine if up and bottled,
And so far it seems to be going fine.
But once in a while this life needs re-juggled,
And the act comes back with the stiff jaw line.
She wishes there were someone to see past,
But along with the truth comes honesty
And who’s really ready for that newscast.
So for now she’ll continue acting falsely
For often times it’s the appearance of sanity
That’s worth more than feeling worthy of humanity.
