The Ocean

Smooth and gracefully gliding across,
Yet white and foaming at the edges.
Nature’s serenity exemplified best
The sailor’s loathsome adversary.

Across the blue robe of tranquility,
Interwoven with shades of monotony.
The waves, slowly bouncing up and down
The wind blows and ships run aground.
