The Roses Are Outside

Outside everyone is
Laughing and smiling.
And inside I am
In a box with closed walls
And little windows, blinds covering all.
Outside everyone is
Laughing and smiling.
I look outside and try and
See the roses,
But the walls are so terribly
Strong,
And the windows are so terribly
Small.
