In the distance, the wind whispers
In the sky, the clouds loudly stir up a storm
The sun laughing with it's beams
but I need to be alone
I need some peace
In the hills, the tall grasses dance with joy
The bugs buzzing beautomously,
but I need to be alone
I need some peace
In the trees, the leaves wrestle and rustle
while shivering in the wind
The birds whistle a tune, whistle with happiness
but I need to be alone
I need some peace
Past the trees, the hills, and birds
There's a city, tall with pride
In the city, there's an apartment, sagging with fatigue and sadness
In the apartment, there are two adults
In them, there is haterd, fear, and worry
In the adults, a storm is brewing
Starting with a sprinkle of opinions, then a downpour of yelling
They are my parents
They are me
I need to be alone,
I need some peace
The tall grasses dance
The bugs buzz
The leaves wrestle
The birds whistle
Where can I be alone,
where can I find peace
