When I was young I was a traveler,
going and seeing places with colors;
Just as bright as rainbows and delectable food with wondrous odors.
Looking at those winding paths, seeing places in the maps and real life;
I've come to terms that this world's very big,ready for curiosity, living life without those apps.
Many people ask me why I move so much, and all I do is tell them I'm a Gypsy Child;
I may not have Gypsy blood running through my veins, but seeing I go place to place, makes me seem wild.
Well I liken my life to the wind in the willows;
All I can say is that my head's in my pillow.
Thinking about other days when I'll move again, I liken my life to a paint brush, that moves with the colors clapping around me!
I may seem quite, I may seem shy;
but that doesn't give you the reason why.
All I know is that I'm a Gypsy Child;
Learning about different ways of living keeps me wild.

The author's comments:
The inspiration for "Gypsy Child" was my childhood and current life about me always moving. People really do ask my family and I why we move so much and I think the reason changes with each move. I first saw the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon when I was six years old so I always have that image in my head when I hear the word traveling.
