Walking Home

December 9, 2008
By Anonymous

When I’m in my last class, my body tingles
Because I cant wait until the bell rings.
When it goes ding,
I jump out of my seat
Into the hallway where I feel free.
Walking home along the street
With no teachers or parents to control me
Laughing with the people walking with me
Some kids are quiet, others acting silly
As we walk, kids turn into their homes
Everybody turns until it’s me all alone
I’m home, ready to eat
That’s why I can’t wait until the bell rings
