I am a pile
Of skin and bone
The structure within
Has fallen apart
It's no longer bones holding up skin,
But skin weighing down on bones.
A mess, a broken mess,
Of all that was, I am.
My bones have hollowed out
And they breathe a sigh of relief
As they let themselves break,
And give in,
And I fall,
And I shatter.
