A Poet's Hand

December 2, 2008
A poet's hand writes from the heart.
Not stopping to think;
a work of art.
Words on the page
spill out like an ocean.
Released from a cage
all my emotions.
Thoughts pour out
'till you can't write anymore.
it ends with a sigh,
and there is no more.

Agreed. True poetry is all from the heart. The poems that carry the most emotion are usually the best. Good poem=)
