Silver Sand and Ways to Escape

November 13, 2008

And so it goes:
the waves swept over golden eyes
And the stars were the brightest they've ever been
But the promise that tomorrow would wake
Stood in question as feet dangled on the dock
As night turned into day and tomorrow turned today
The sun rose for the first time
Long ago buried in the horizon on our hearts
And just the same the moon claimed our destiny
As distant melodies played silently in the wind
And misery spelt love in the sand.

I want people to pick the darkest time of their life and fill it with this poem.
Make every dream you have reality.
