A Thought

Darkness is ever so
Graceful, it's moonlight that guides me
takes me to the place where he rests,
and I can once again,
Have sight of who I am eternally and externally.
I love him so, and when I am
Here, I know that everything is okay, because I am sitting upon the one I love,
and that is the one I want to be with. Not
in this mental facility where reality
becomes a nightmare, but a nightmare becomes a dream, and I, once
Again can't loose sight of who I am, but
Rather redifine who I might be one day.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem originally for a book that is being sent in to be published. But when I wrote it, I was writing it for a friend who was sick with depression for a week and a half. I love her so much, and I am glad that she is doing better.
