Forgive me but these inadequacies are solely my own
These cracks in my foundation are but those I have chiseled for my own entertainment
Seeing what felt good
What hurt
What hurt other
Love me for my warm embrace or please don’t love me at all
For every winter snow will fall
Someone else will hold my hands
Keep my heart whole
In this terrible, heartbreaking,
and misshapen world
