Where Were You When My World Came Crashing Down?

Where were you when my world came down that horrid night?
Out in the yard playing games with my friends and family;
Or hanging with one that hates me?
Did you stand there in shock the day my soul died
Against the tears I broke?
Did you shoot out in tears or anger for my
Or did you just walk off and not care?
When my heart broke I saw your face!
Did you cry for me
That lost her loved one?
Did you pray for my return?
Did you rejoice I always loved you
And cried for you to not leave me?
Did you burst out and yell for my soul
And for the hero to be you?
Did you look up to the Heaven for some kind of answer?
And thought to yourself what really mattered about us?

(chorus)
I’m just a girl that knew you loved her;
I’m not a perfect one.
I watch as my pain rises, but I’m not sure I can tell you
The difference in me and her
But I know you and thought I knew Matt.
And, remembered this from when we first met
Through Faith, and Hope are the things I know
And the greatest is us.

Where were you when my world came crashing down that horrid night?
Hanging with friends of our group;
Walking to her house Thursday night?
Did you feel guilty ‘cause you’re to blame
In the group of four did you feel happy or
Did you miss me?
Did you want to call me up and tell me you love me?
Did you come to say good night on the night I died?
When my heart broke I saw your face!
Did you open you eyes and hoped it never happened;
And at midnight you couldn’t sleep?
Did you look up at the moon I loved so much;
Or speak to her and not me?
Did you lay down that night and think of me;
Or did you tell her you loved her and not me?
When my heart broke I saw your face!
Did you go to church like you promised me?
Or did you stay away since it wasn’t me?
Cam stand up and shed your blood for me?
Did you just hang out with her and never left her side
Or did you thank me, for loving you, but not anymore?

(chorus)
I’m just a girl that knew you loved her;
I’m not a perfect one.
I watch as my pain rises, but I’m not sure I can tell you
The difference in me and her
But I know you and thought I knew Matt.
And, remembered this from when we first met
Through Faith, and Hope are the things I know
And the greatest is us.

(chorus)
I’m just a girl that knew you loved her;
I’m not a perfect one.
I watch as my pain rises, but I’m not sure I can tell you
The difference in me and her
But I know you and thought I knew Matt.
And, remembered this from when we first met
Through Faith, and Hope are the things I know
And the greatest is us.
And the greatest is us.
And the greatest is us.
And the greatest is us till the very end!

Where were you when my world came down that horrid night?

Hi I'm November L. Quinn, I love to write and draw many things about how my life and fantacy roles through life and sticks till something bad happends. I'm suffering from deprssent and bipolerness. I can't tell you how many people made fun of me and I would like for my work and art to show you how life is and how people act through other people....
I'm not the one to like people mean to others but one that wants to be everyone's friend. So if your one of those people thank you for understanding my work of music, poems, stories, and art.
