the killer and the prey

the killer sliding in my sweat filed hands
here comes the prey lost and lonely
cold and dirty
mud stained and filled with nothingness
i know i can and will
all my focus
my gut
all right there with power
energy everything all right there
and all so suddenly gone
i see the poor
of a lonely pedal
lost and gone
but now what
i feel relieved
but what about the ball
how does the ball feel?
