Thoughts of the Broken

Halls of lies,
Halls of eyes!
Yet the eyes never see,
They never see them hurting me.
Physical or emotional?
That is the answer most questionable.
Their words lash, their speech crushes.
My heart aches, the blood rushes.
Around this corner? Or around that door?
Either way, my happiness drops to the floor.
This is not a case of love gone bad,
Or me making someone mad.
This is a emotionally wrecking pain,
And hardly anything keeps me sane.
