How Can We

October 8, 2008
By Madison Squeglia, Venetia, PA

How can we look back
If we never saw what we had
How can we look forward
If we can't see what we have
How can we say what we want
If we never even know.

Things change and feelings grow
People live and learn
But when we stop to think;
Everything we've done
And everyone we hurt
How everything seems so small.

When we stop to look around
To see what we can see
We could have missed something
That can change eternity.

Good deep thoughts.Good subject and title. After reading composition with such deep thoughts, it makes you think about the past, present and the future of life and living.

Madi this is one of your best poems. You have so much potential and you are one of the best poets I've ever come across in my entire life. The way your poetry flows and how in-depth your poems are simply amazes me. You are an amazing writer!
