Wonderful Day

Shanky shack of rundown flavor,
premiere appeal once a play of laughter,
wordless religion this merriment.
Disregard for impossibilites,
aching, hissing floors beloved,
good company in spoken plaster,
bewildering apostles.
Fantasy, reality, a tribute to your sublime vindication,
but halt my dreams, for splendor fails,
so buried earthly heart of yore,
who serenaded the romanticism into early morn,
Mr. Rogers why you captivate these worms still yet.
