Once again, I have come to a conclusion,
Confusion rules my mind.
Without him, my life would be void,
But hurting her would have the same effect.
Pouring my feelings onto this page,
In blood red ink,
Reveals the problem,
I dare to keep concealed.
The one I do not wish to hurt,
Does not yet know of my wrongs.
She isn’t aware of the storm,
Brewing on the dusky horizon.
While I take the heat,
She is allowed peace of mind,
And I shall keep it that way,
Until the last possible minute.
Spare her feelings,
While mine are in ruins.
