Love Poem: For Justin
I met you in October
When the leaves crinkled under our feet
It was a football game
And i made a joke about your name--
Nickname--I didn't know your name then
That flows off my tongue so easily now
Music to my ears
Like your heartbeat
And your breath exhaled
Face next to mine
I can taste it--Oh divine
Like the scent of your hair
And your dark skin
After a shower
The magic of your dark brown eyes
Hardly distinguished from the pupil
You were the first person
I could look in the eye
