Brittle Self

September 24, 2008

A heart is a fragile thing.
One gaze,
one word,
one touch.
Can break its brittle self.

So when dealing with matters of the heart,
be carful,
be tender,
be kind.
A heart is not something to be fooled with.
To be taken for granted.
Or thrown aside.

A heart is a fragile thing.
One gaze,
one word,
one touch.
Can break its brittle self.

So when dealing with matters of the heart,
be carful,
be tender,
be kind.

I wrote this while I was waiting for my mom to pick me up after school one day. I had, had a rough day, and a rough couple of weeks so I wrote. Wrighting helps me free all that is clinging to my soul, and bringing me down.
