She’s
s t a r s t r u c k,
looking in his eyes,
And he’s looking in hers.
(And they just look so happy I could kill him.)
He kisses her lips
And I can almost see
The world spin beneath her feet.
Her knees buckle,
And she almost falls,
But he catches her.
(And they just look so in love I could kill her.)
She smiles.
That little smile.
Where she just lifts the corners of her lips.
And her eyebrows rise
As if in shock
Or surprise.
It’s the smile that sets the world on fire.
And stars explode in the sky.
He kisses her forehead
And holds her tight.
(And they’re just so perfect for each other,
I could kill them.)
She laughs.
I know how that laugh lights up his world,
Makes his day bright
And all he can see is her.
I know.
It used to do the same thing
To me.
