The sound of the waves crashing on the land,
As light from above shines on the water.
A couple walks hand in hand along the shoreline,
Leaving deep footprints behind,
Reminding them where they came from.
They look into one another’s eyes
And see the reflection of a glowing orb in the sky.
The palm trees surrounding them make noise
As they sway with the wind.
The girl looks into the dark starry night with a sense of wonder;
Looking back at her man she sees fear in his eyes.
He fears losing his one and true love,
The soul standing beside him.
The two look back up into the sky
To see the bright moon glistening.
The moon gazes down upon the earth
And gives new found love a hopeful stare.
