Suicide

In the midst of thousands of people , yet alone

One of the stars who once very brightly shone

The world is moving, than why am I at a standstill?

Just like the useless unmoving windmill

Why is everything starting to go down?

In the waterfall of misery im soon gonna drown

It’s been long since I actually lived life

Among the roads of joy I used to drive`
But a candle of hope is yet alive

As we say a man is always free and never deprived

A man is a master of his own fate`
And can be held by none: chains or stone gate

And with that I picked up the big knife

It is often called the key to destruction but will save me from my deadly strife`
As I raised it to my throat with great courage and strength

Ready to take my final and last breath

The angel of destiny appeared and said

“I am glad there are those who welcome death”

Hey, Aaiza I, your poem is amazing. I like the way you twisted everything to sound so dramatic. Keep it up!

It's wonderful! I like your style of writing, it is very elegant. It should definitely be published IN the magazine. Good luck
