For Mom's Smile Once More

September 10, 2008

Waiting for the phone call, fingers crossed I’m praying
Praying for the phone to ring, for someone to be saying
Congratulations miss; you’ve won the grand prize
And to see the tears of joy flowing from my mother’s eyes
To present her with the prize, that she needs, that I worked for
And having her be happy and smiling once more
