lonely girl

By
More by this author
lonely girl with the tragically beautiful gaze,
used to spend her time wishing away her days.

stranger
more than a little rough around the edges,
accidentally stumbled upon that sorrow and knocked down the fences.
stranger isn't exactly the perfect example
of what someone should or shouldn't be
but it didn't take long for lonely girl to begin to see
maybe she wasn't so lonely.

she isn't,
not at all.
she's got someone to break her fall.

now?
lonely girl is learning step by step
but she's not perfect.
no, that would be too unoriginal.

she's fluid, halting,
overwhelmingly beautiful.

she's setting free,
not falling another moment into the pull of gravity.
