looking at me
a smiling face
a warm embrace
an attitude screaming snob
a bad job
an open book
a cunning crook
a tough outer shell
handling everything well
the way you perceive me
a girl running free
it's not all visible
the way that i am
it's all locked up
a cracking dam
the walls all inside me
the feelings i hide
they're falling before you
rushing out with the tide
next time you look
just keep in mind
the way that i am
to which you are blind
