A Hero's Fate
The thunder booms a rhythmic song
One that does not last long
Shall I be happy, sad, or mad is my thought
Or should I just be distraught
Fro the battle between hot and cold
Rage within me but long behold
I shall not fold
only to be told
Your worth nothing great
but oddly I relate
Should I fall for the bait
even when it might be to late
For this I ponder
As it starts to dawn on her
That she made the mistake
for trusting the conniving snake
She's all alone now
but she still wont bow
She's got enough for one more
She'll even out the score
Although it hurts
and she's sore
She wont lose this never ending war
Until she's washed up on haven's shores
