Truth
Cool to the touch, warm to the heart
Feeling melancholy in every moment apart
Paralyzed with fear, fear that you’re not there
Fear that’s not fear
Frightened of reality, where every thought is fear
Where the invention of the fear
Comes from not accepting the truth
From living out of lies
The truth I say that may exist
Is one that cannot be seen with love not true
A blind love that binds the heart to one reality
One that shades the me from the truth
One that masks your feelings and makes me selfish
Ignoring your feeling and pains me to watch
Watching your love dwindle
The one you pretend to have
I don’t know if love is there
I don’t know if your heart will ever heal
I don’t know when I can love you
I don’t know where love begins
