Ignored
Ignored
I used to have self confidence
I thought I was okay
But now my faith's been ripped right out
And I have none today.
I hear you talking with your friends
I hear you telling lies
Your friends all laugh as I walk by
And then I realize.
That I don't matter in their eyes
That I'm their laughingstock
And deep inside, I now believe
Comments are hard to block.
I start believing ugly things
And soon forget the truth.
Though I've heard the best time
Is when you're in your youth.
One day, farther than I can see,
I'll have my faith restored
Because you reach heaven
you'll never be ignored.
