This page is the only thing I adore
just keep staring at this blank page,
hoping for the words that will turn my life right side up,
I just keep sitting as the paper begins to age,
How much have I wasted, waiting?
I see, but do not acknowledge the commotion that has trapped me in this cage.
I will keep waiting, as long as it takes, maybe even forever.
I have learned and I have loved, but I still sit.
This page is the only thing that I adore.
How much more will I waste? I won't know until I quit.
The paper in front of me is faded and dried out.
Will you ever get what you deserve? asks the page
As I stand, I start to realize that the fault lines of my heart,
have already began to form.
Letters slowly appear.
"Patience is a virtue and you have proved that well."
Stunned, my mind begins to spin. Is this what I had waited for?
"You don't need anyone to tell you how to make it better."
The earthquakes of my heart are already shaking me,
I should have been more patient, I should have never given in.
"Make a life for yourself, not for anyone else."
