Eternity is a tree
Rooted in this very moment in time.
It sprouts infinitely forth
Both forward and behind.
It meets us everywhere
Waiting for us there,
Both where we’ve been
And where we mean to go.
It waits for all time
For our moment here.

This was written in response to a saying of my grandpa's, "Eternity is Now".
