Miserable Girl

August 3, 2008
By Anonymous

Head hung low
Shoulders posed high
People make way
For the miserable girl

Tears she'll cry
Stirring the by and by
Walking through the halls
Is the miserable girl

People become sour
Moods become bitter
Everything changes
For the miserable girl

The question is why
she's so sad all the time
The eternal mystery
Is the miserable girl

Did her someone die?
Has her family broken?
People are curious
about the miserable girl

She turns her head
and looks at me
"the reason I'm miserable
Is because I'm always called...
The miserable girl."

Bullying hurts. The commonly used label, "Emo", hurts. Actually, labels in general hurt. When you make a person feel bad you will learn what goes around comes around. I was hurt by a label, which inspired me to write this. I hope you learn from it.
