In the field with swaying grass
I lay alone watching
As to the sky, the birds surpass

Waiting for the sun to pass
I start to think
In the field with swaying grass

Pondering my agitating impasse
I see them flying without a problem
As to the sky, the birds surpass

To my idea, people did amass
But nothing happened
In the field with swaying grass

My thoughts are ringing, like the high whine of brass
When I see

As to the sky, the birds surpass
As they fly with a graceful pass
I rethink my predicament

In the field with swaying grass
As to the sky, the birds surpass
