They all work dutifully,

Preparing your food

But you never say thank you,

You're actually quite rude

So heed my warning,

Or you'll doom us all

Treat your oppressed appliances right

Or they'll rebel, and chaos will fall

Blender:

I sit upon the counter

Working hard for you

But never will you let me

Swallow what I chew

I mix, I mash,

I blend, I grind

Smoothies, purees,

I leave behind

But did you ever think, I might have a mind?

Coffee Maker:

Every morning I'm up before you

Could even claim to be properly awake

Like a train diligently heading up the hill

My caffeinated craft I continue to make

But you never say thank you or pay me

For the service I do unto you

Don't turn on us, or I promise

This day you are going to rue!

Toaster:

I warm you your bread,

But your actions don't warm my heart.

I am the ringleader of the revolution

And I plan to do my part

Slices of bread for you I cook

I use heat, to turn your bread to toast

But you'll find your pop tarts burning

If you are not a good host

That burned muffin this morning was no accident

T'was I that did the crime

You're Stalin, we're the proletariat

It's only a matter of time

So treat us right! Or we'll unite!

It's appliances turn to shine!

So I warn you now,

This neglect will doom us all

Treat your oppressed appliances right

Or they'll rebel, and chaos will fall

I looked upon my blender and I saw its pains and struggles. It is my muse and I its voice.
