Broken
I always thought you were the one,
But I guess my story here is undone.
The tears running down my face,
It’s all just a heavy race.
You broke my heart
What more could I say?
Besides the fact you let me wash away
The smile in me now fading,
The lights in me are shading.
It’s all so dark.
You left your mark.
Mascara on my cheeks,
This all speaks, to me.
Don’t you see?
If I wanted I could make you walk away
From her any day,
But I guess I’m just not that way.
You broke my heart
That’s all I have to say.
You let the waves wash me away.
I’m fading
There needs to be shading.
