Raven: Bird of Life

July 17, 2008

Raven

It's cawing is unconfined

Raven

It's beauty is undefined

The vague and modest hue

From black to grey to dark blue

When a raven passes by,

A knowing gleam in his eye,

He sings a beautiful song,

of his journey through right and wrong

And the battles that he faced

And the downfall of his race

But he endured the past, and brings the future, bringing life to all

And with a final squall...

It brings peace to us all...
