Even at your darkest times,
it will always be there.
When you can no longer see the bright side,
it appears and reminds you with a glow,
that you have a reason to continue;
you have reason to accept the showering rays,
and that you have another day to look forward to;
another chance to await the greetings of sunlight.

Sunshine radiates from her as she smiles at you;
she gives off a feeling that warms you insides,
melts your heart,
gives your life it’s purpose.
You would spend all day soaking the sun up,
but all good things come to an end.
While she whimpers as darkness creeps back,
you lean over and kiss her goodnight.
