Opposite Twins: Day and Night
When it sets behind the horizon
the last ounce of light is absorbed by every living soul
light ricocheting off bodies of water
and engulf your whole awareness
But it is then gone
along with the radiant colors of light
But even something better comes out
The twin of Day
The twin is dark, warm, and full of life
With sudden shapes of light exploding
in the mid-black and azul patterns
it may seem like death but it is full of unexpected life
creatures awake and ster
humans lay and sleep motionless
dark hids love, power, and ever living soul
in a deep and engulfing shadow
But the two together make a Day and a Night
