Let your smile change the world, don't let the world change your smile.

If I were the rain,
I would lull people to sleep,
Moisten the horses mane,
And fall into the big, blue, deep.

I could be angry,
And people would have to notice.
They would have to listen to me,
I would make them nervous.

I fall with thunders boom,
And sizzle with lightnings strike.
We shake your room,
And ruin your favorite bike.

I bring life to all that i touch,
I bring green, vivid and alive.
I give people a rush,
Make plants thrive.

I am rain,
I am scary and beautiful.

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

I love how you not only showed the destructive side of rain, but the part that brings life as well. Excellent poem!
