What is a Man Worth?

What is a man without a home?
is he worth his daily bread?
Where would he sleep if he had no bed?
Will he survive if he is forced to roam?
If he is like a rabid dog drooling foam,
Does he deserve to be dead?
Does he even get a coffin covered in chrome?
If he is the product of the plague we send,
Why should he be the one to die?
Should we not live in the destruction we rend?
If we say “No!” is that not a lie?
Why should the man be the one to end?
Why should we be considered, “better than another guy?”
