Trees As Tall As Mountains
I remember the star laden nights
Where trees stood as tall as mountains
And I was invincible to the world around me
What were you supposed to know
No one tells you when you are too young to understand
You wander around
But no answers come
Someday you will be big enough
It is too late now
To think about what could have been
The world now invincible to my pleas
I look up to the stars that once dazzled my eyes
Wishing sadly that you could have one more night
Where it was me who ruled the skies
