Walking ever so slowly to enjoy the moment
Shoes gone, nowhere to be found
Walking down each step, stopping, feeling each fracture in the wood
Creaking and cracking as my foot hits each step
Blades of grass, firm and crisp
Wind whistling in my ear
Paying attention to each individual step
Reaching the sands of the beach
Grains and pebbles running through my toes
Sitting, looking at the sky with imagination and curiosity
Small we are
Vast out there
