Fear Not the Future
Fear not the future dear, though it may be dark.
Though the darkness may drag us seperate ways.
Your tenderness has on my heart made a mark
Which there will stay long after the rest decays.
Oh, how I wish Cupid's will was obvious,
And to the darkness our lives impervious.
God has an angel of his from Heaven sent,
Trapped in the cage of a human, no doubt.
I shall keep you safe from the dark, our future,
And shine the light of hope 'cross our darkened paths.
Fear not the future love, for it shan't be dark
If in our hearts the fire of love remains lit.
