Here we are
The two of us
Sitting by the Sea
Simply sitting and thinking
Thinking of what we can be
We can be bounded together
The two of us together…
Forever by the Sea
Just you and me

We can grow old and no longer agree
Live life awaiting the end of one another’s company
Two lives become one and lose the
Feeling of being free
Just a lonely old man
Seeking the sun
By the Sea

We can sit under the tree
Upon which I rest
Something as simple a tree could bring such peace
Wonderful peace!
A tranquil yet beautiful mystery
Shades us with its soothing arms
The two of us
Under the caressing tree
That stands by the Sea

Life away from the water
Away from the Sea
Away from the tree
Can carry on without me
Ill stay in my haven
Thinking in the place to where I can flee
Just me
All alone
With the sand by the Sea

I want my poem to help people stop and look at the beauty in simple things.
