time out

when I was young
I had lots of fun
I made potions in the sink
I don't care what you think
I got some soap
and a blue toy boat
'til my mom would come
and I would run
I went to my room
where the flowers bloomed
and there was no mommy
just my friend Tommy
she'd sat "stay in here and don't come out"
I'd sit on my bed and forever I'd pout
but up in there, there was more toys
I would play with my dolls and dream about boys
and then the day would come to an end
I would lay my head down and and stay in my bed
