If love ran the world
Instead of money and greed.
If love ran the world
We wouldn’t have all these needs.
If people worked to work
And not to get ahead,
“This would be a better place”
I’ve heard it often said
But if love ran the world
Maybe everyone would have more.
But what of those without love?
What about the poor?
