love is

By , plainwell, MI
she was the sun to my shine.
the coal to my mine.
the key to my lock.
the knob to my door.
the rug to my floor.
she was my world and i was hers.

we stood there holding each other close.
for if we let go we would drift apart.

i stared into her eyes she stared into mine.
i could see into her heart.
as well as she could mine.

if it was not for her i would have lost my sanity to the cruel cruel world of hate and pain.

when we drifted apart i forgot all the good times we had but remembered the bad.

why does love end with i had
