Shining Stars

The ocean dances under the falling sun,
And her blue eyes wink
While her hushed voice whispers a lullaby.
Sun sets to sleep and reveals
The stars in the sky
That decorate the dark mantle
And shine above the fragile earth
Which collapses in-between my fingers.
The clouds clear away and expose the infinite heaven,
And it too holds the bliss that I see
In the ocean’s dance.
Moon takes her turn to watch the deep
And brings paradise before me
While shining stars fly ubiquitously.
